- This position provides operational support for TX-65 programs designed for current students and recent college graduates who are part of the following Professional Talent Development Programs: Gen>NEXT student program and PACE.
- The role will interface with a variety of associates and managers in various departments throughout Plant Spartanburg, utilize various computer applications and phone communications daily, and attend regular meetings for our Talent Development Programs.
- The position is open for an intern (one rotation) or for someone that wants to commit as a co-op (three rotations, alternating with school terms).
The qualified intern/Co-op should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions:
- Duties will include a mixture of operational tasks and project management including, but not limited to, the following:
- Schedule various meetings and training sessions.
- Assist with documentation tracking and filing, collecting and analyzing data, and tracking training completion for Associates in programs.
- Create, review and revise program promotional documentation, forms, etc.
- Support new hire onboarding activities.
- Maintain project plans and task lists for various individual and team projects.
- Attend meetings and compile minutes and action items.
- Create presentations and communication documents using Corporate Identity standards.
- Coordinate and attend PACE Inside Scoop Sessions.
- Attend PACE monthly Roundtable and Steering Committee meetings.
- Coordinate and attend Gen>NEXT virtual workshops, in-person workshops.
- Monitor and respond to Gen>NEXT operations and PACE email inbox.
- Updates to various sources for program tracking.
- Present TDP monthly updates in TX-65 meeting.
- Create quarterly TDP Newsletter (PACE) & weekly Gen>NEXT newsletter.
- Event coordination: scheduling, staffing, training (e, g. National Intern week in summer rotation).
- Materials design/development.
- Research/analysis.
- Conducting surveys: seeking input and feedback.
- Needs assessment: providing input for continuous improvements.
- Evaluation/reporting: providing feedback on programs, associates’ perspectives.
- Oversee Gen>NEXT LinkedIn strategy.
- Digitalization of processes: increased automation, data visualization, data-based decisions.
- National Intern week coordination (Summer rotation).
- Gen>NEXT marketing video (Bi-annually).
- APEX: continued maintenance and upgrades for Talent Development Programs and Future Talent Programs.
- Maintain and update Operational Lead Process Manual for PACE.
- Plan and coordinate annual PACE Graduation Ceremony (August).
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing BS/BA or advanced degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications, or related field.
- MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) experience required.
- Must have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently on projects with minimal supervision.
- Position requires ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
- MS Teams and SharePoint experience (preferred).
- Experience with databases and data visualization tools (e.g., APEX, Power BI) (preferred).
- Experience with marketing, video editing, newsletter creation (preferred).
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
- Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
- Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
- Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
- Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
- MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT.
- Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
- THE WORK TERM DATES ARE May 19th – August 8th, 2025.
