Description: As the Logistics Innovation and Continuous Improvement Co-op you will work with us to:
- Improve Logistics INNOVATION with Business Case Realization (Cost / Benefit Ratio / Justification).
- IMPACT Digitalization of Logistics with AI, BI and Data Analytics (IT configurable). Implementation of 5-Year innovation plan including AR / VR, and Best Practice Training.
- Strategize Strategic Development of the Workforce for the Future with supporting technology.
- Increase the APP Landscape and Usage in Logistics to improve Quality and Efficiency.
- Improve Work Organization (Measurables) and Key Process Indicator Transparency.
- Implementation of Power BI, DataRobot, Celonis, other Data Analytical Tools.
- Huge focus on Problem Solving in a dynamic environment including Data Modelling.
- Manage projects and implementation with IT and Production with a focus on AGILE
- Working Methods. Value Stream Process, Process Mapping, Waste Reduction, and usage of JIRA / Confluence.
- Improve Best Practice Sharing (VPS Communication, Newsletters, and Training).
- Improve Processes daily for Associates, Process Leaders, Key Users & Section Leaders.
- Ensure Target Achievement (current and future) with Strategic Planning / Technology.
- Find and implement solutions for more effective processes in Greer Packing Plant Logisitics.
- Work with Greer Packing Plants in all Warehouse Functions (Goods Receiving, Packing, Goods Issue, Quality, Yard, & others).
- Improve Daily Operations including Processes, Training, Tools, and Digitalization.
- Implement solutions with IT incl. SAP, Android Devices, Autonomous Devices, and AR / VR.
- Lead Electronic Board and Data Transparency, Usage of Statistics, and Problem Solving.
- Work with Teams to determine Process Improvements.
- INNOVATION with Road Shows, BMW IT Academy, and Strategic H.R. Partnerships.
- Improvement of specific processes working with IT to develop SAP Programming.
- Implement storage solutions with electronic devices (Geofencing investigation).
- Strategic Application of RFID and Readers.
- Microsoft Power BI and Power APP’s.
- Top 5 Enabler Projects, APP Approval Board, and Complaint Compliance Board.
- Evaluate non-SAP IT Solutions potentials.
Qualifiations:
Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or IT preferred.
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
- Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
- Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
- Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
- Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
- Must commit to three co-op rotations as an enrolled student
- MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT.
- Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
- THE WORK TERM DATES ARE May 19th – August 8th, 2025.
