What awaits you?
• Manages General Ledger financial processes.
• Ensures balance sheet accuracy.
• Responds to ad-hoc requests for Plant San Luis Potosi financial data.
• Provides analysis and reports (internally and externally).
• Ensures timely completion of closing activities, financial reporting, and audit requirements.
• Communicates financial results to upper management.
• Collaborates with HR on accounting processes.
• Prepares and communicates monthly financial reports.
• Prepares and interprets monthly performance reports.
• Calculates provisions and accruals.
• Verifies and analyzes all GL accounts.
• Sets up SAP validation rules and reconciles balance accounts.
• Ensures accurate and timely account analysis and resolution of discrepancies.
• Ensures compliance with IFRS and BMW Group accounting standards.
• Manages and develops team to achieve business objectives.
• Contributes to ICS design and testing, providing support to ICS Champions.
What you should bring?
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a General Ledger Accountant or in a similar role.
• The ability to work in networks and understand both direct and indirect influencing factors on key business decisions.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, particularly those related to General Ledger.
• Hands-on experience with SAP or a similar ERP system..
• Knowledge of and demonstrable understanding of internal control structures, internal & external audit procedures, accounting standards.
• Knowledge and understanding of all GL financial processes and the related IT landscape.
• Fluent English level.
• Experience in the automotive industry.
