Description
We connect the network with integrated supply chain solutions to safeguard production. We ensure parts supply at the right time, right place, right quantity, and right quality in order to secure a continuous production. The focus of our department is Material Control, Transportation Control, and Delivery Assurance. We are the Gatekeepers of the supply chain for the ultimate driving machine.
The qualified intern should be expected to:
- Launch parts availability monitoring and reporting.
- Developing, measuring, and reporting on various KPIs including parts availability; inventory accuracy; on-time delivery adherence; expedited freight costs; pre-series delivery performance and logistical qualification
- Supporting various work packages targeting process improvements and optimized value streams
- Improving handover and part transition process from launch into series
- Ensure data quality thru maintaining of proper planning parameters.
- Support in innovations and digitalization projects through use of RPAs, Machine-learning, SAP scripting, app development, dashboard creation and maintenance, etc.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will have completed (or is in the process of receiving) a degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or a related field with a GPA of 3.4 or above (preferred).
- Candidate must have strong interpersonal and technical skills (experience using Power BI, SQL, Data Lake, etc. is a bonus).
- Independent & detail-oriented work
- Organized
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Willingness to learn.
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
- Have enrolled status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
- Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
- Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
- Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
- MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT.
- Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
