BMW UK, Farnborough - Sales Intern - 13 Month Placement (July 2025)
We have several placements within Sales including Corporate and Specialist Sales, Sales Steering and Planning, Sales Fulfilment, Sales Network Performance and National Sales.
Within the five placement opportunities available you will be a key and valued member of our team from day one, working closely with multiple teams within the Sales realm, providing an exciting opportunity to gain valuable exposure to multiple areas of the business. These roles will also allow students to be involved in several critical long-term strategic projects aiming to maintain the BMW Group’s position as the number one Corporate Sales brand. You will also be part of a team of highly experienced professionals who work together to maximise order opportunities while having time and space to add that real proactive personal touch to our customer journey through various Sales Mechanisms.
What awaits you?
- Supporting the organisation and running of several customer engagement events. These are excellent opportunities to showcase our products with the aim of adding to our customer base.
- Be the Voice of the Customer throughout the developments of the system with the customer journey being enhanced at all stages.
- Exploring correlations between key performance indicators, identifying opportunities for retailer performance improvements. Delivering monthly and yearly achievement projections.
- Identification and reporting of competitor performance trends from the Competitor Analysis, to assist within the quarterly tactical planning process.
- Work with the Area Managers and Retailer Performance Centre team, supporting with KPI reporting and action planning.
- The Sales department is often at the front of new initiatives within the industry. There will often be the opportunity to be involved in special projects and potentially link back to your own studies or interests.
Qualifications and Experience
- Studying towards a bachelor's degree in a Business-related field and on track to achieve at least a 2:2.
- Strong relationship building skills and ability to show good inter-personal skills, showing exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Great organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks with differing timescales and objectives.
- A general understanding of BMW and the automotive industry will be advantageous.
- Experienced user of Microsoft Office and Outlook

- A full UK driver's licence and a willingness to travel in the UK are essential.
