Description

We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied Internship in the area of small scale production of Li-ion battery cells, with focus on characterization methods of electrodes and scale-up. 

 

What awaits you?

  • An exciting combination of practical tasks surrounding electrode development and theoretical insights into project and portfolio management.
  • Supporting the development of new characterization methods for Li-ion battery cells.
  • Insights into the scale-up of electrode production.
  • Study decision making methods to aid battery cell development. 

 

What should you bring along? 

  • Studies in chemistry, physics, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or a similar course of study.
  • Laboratory experience desirable.
  • Programming in MATLAB/Phyton is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of the production of electrodes (with focus on the anode) of Li-ion battery cells is an advantage.
  • High critical thinking skills and independent way of working.
  • Fluent in English and preferably intermediate skills in German.
  • Strong team and communication skills.
