Master Thesis Human AI Collaboration (f/m/x)
ARE YOU READY FOR THE 4TH REVOLUTION?
SHARE YOUR PASSION.
Digitalisation, robotics, artificial intelligence – not science fiction but our daily business. Everything seems impossible until it has been done. World-leading technologies don’t make it into a BMW until they’ve undergone one of the most challenging journeys imaginable. It takes dynamic teams with outstanding technical skills to take them from the drawing board to the road. That’s why our experts will treat you as part of the team from day one, encourage you to bring your own ideas to the table – and give you the opportunity to really show what you can do.
We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied Master thesis in the area of the innovative field at the BMW Group's central IT department. Your work should delve into the dynamic field of Human-Generative AI Collaboration. This area explores the synergistic partnership between humans and generative AI (GenAI) agents, aiming to achieve goals set by human participants. Thereby GenAI collaborates with human counterparts by producing content such as code, textual content, imagery, or video in response to human prompts. This collaboration empowers individuals to enhance their abilities and achieve superior results, making strides in efficiency and creativity in business tasks. Yet, the integration of GenAI into human processes is not without its challenges. It may inadvertently lead to a reduction in human creativity or facilitate the spread of misinformation within organizations and across digital platforms.
Therefore, the aim of your work is to investigate and develop design principles for effective and beneficial collaboration between humans and GenAI. The goal is to enhance the positive impacts while mitigating the potential negative consequences of this collaboration, ensuring that the fusion of human intelligence with artificial generativity leads to the most advantageous business outcomes.
