We offer you an interesting internship in the field of research & development. Join one of our agile teams to develop power train functions for the next generation of electrical, hybrid and conventional vehicles. 

As part of your internship you gain insights into the various engine and vehicle derivatives of the BMW Group. In addition, you will get to know different aspects of the engine management systems and the validation of new functions. You will accompany us in the coordination of internal process partners and external system suppliers. While developing new functions, you work on comprehensive topics of project management and testing assurance of various BMW derivatives. We offer you an interesting internship at the E-Drive Test Field Automation team. You will be involved in a range of test field specific IT projects, focusing on evaluation of test field data including data mining, predictive maintenance and machine learning methods.

You will work in a small automation team within the department, which allows you to work independently on your tasks, communicate and cooperate with partners from other department at the same time. Depending on your skills and personal preferences, you can focus on one project or support several different development projects. Your assistance of general test bench IT automation will allow you a deeper insight into BMW development and testing processes for our new electric vehicles.

We offer you an interesting internship in the field of display and control concepts. As part of your role, you will assist with the development of display and control concept prototypes and mock-ups that can be experienced and provide a high degree of customer satisfaction. 

You will support the entire process starting from the conceptual design and formulation of digital display operating concepts. You will work closely with colleagues from concept development and design. Here, you will be able to actively contribute to ensuring the design-related and functional quality of our display operating concepts.

• Initial experience in handling web-based software development on the client and server side (jQuery, node.js).
• Knowledge of common UX, design and prototyping tools (including Sketch, Framer, Photoshop, Cinema 4D) and in the software development of common game engines, such as Unity or Unreal.

We offer you an interesting internship in the field of ECU software development. You will support the specification team, which works together with the BMW User Interface team,  the BMW Design team and different development areas (e. g. drivetrain /driving dynamics, advanced driver-assistance systems, safety) to connect all their display requirements to the instrument cluster.

Derived from this they bring these requirements into a software-related specification, playing also a role in the design of the ECU software architecture.
