The BMW Group has a large international footprint and several career development opportunities, so it is also great for people who enjoy working in different countries and with different cultures.
1. How did you get to work today?
One of the great things about working for the BMW Group is the fact that we have great products, which we as employees get to experience on a daily basis. This morning I had the pleasure of driving to work in the new X3. The dynamic drive always gets me motivated to tackle any work challenges and have a fun and successful day at work.
2. On which project/topic are you currently working? What was your most exciting project?
As an Area Manager, I am responsible for the BMW Group business in four countries across the Middle East. Due to the nature of the job, the current topics are very heterogeneous and cover different business areas, which makes it very interesting, exciting and dynamic. We are currently working on the most important sales period, Ramadan, as well as preparing for the launches of key regional models; namely the new BMW X7 and the new BMW 7 Series. The most exciting project, takes place at the end of every month, when closing the monthly sales target!
3. What makes working at BMW Group special for you?
The desire to work for BMW started early on for me, when I had the chance to be a passenger in an E39, the 4th generation 5 series, with a professional DTM driver – that experience was thrilling and completely ignited my love for the brand. Fast forward to now, and the fact that we have a fantastic and exciting product portfolio not only makes me proud to work for the brand, but is also reflective of how we strive to do business. The BMW Group has a large international footprint and several career development opportunities, so it is also great for people who enjoy working in different countries and with different cultures.
4. Tell us something, your coworkers don’t know about you?
I love sports and I’m a huge basketball fan – weekends and free time are usually spent with my wife and son or at the basketball court with friends.
