Appreciation is one of our core values and I feel that my contribution is valued every day. That is a very rewarding experience and makes this company very special.

How did you get to work today?

I go to work by car, I am currently driving a 4 series. As BMW employees, we have the privilege of participating in a vehicle leasing program – not only an amazing benefit but also a great opportunity to experience the brand and our entire fleet.

On which project/topic are you currently working? What was your most exciting project?

As part of our BMW NA US Talent team, I support our Engineering, IT, Tech and Design business units with recruiting topics. Sourcing and finding the best talent is always challenging, even more so in the Tech industry. One of my current projects is to source for an Autonomous Driving Engineer as well as an iOS/Android Engineer. These roles require a very unique skillset and it takes a lot of patience to find the right fit. It’s a challenging project but at the same time it never gets boring as we continue to find creative ways on how to reach out to these individuals.

What makes working at BMW Group special for you?

During college, I was always told that you can’t make a change and leave your footprint if you work for a larger organization. I was told that you are just of many and that your opinion doesn’t really matter - after working at BMW Group, I strongly disagree with this statement. Regardless if you work in our Engineering department or whether you sell cars at our dealerships, each and every one contributes to the company’s goals and makes an impact on our business. Appreciation is one of our core values and I feel that my contribution is valued every day. I’d say that is a very rewarding experience and makes this company very special.

Tell us something your coworkers don’t know about you?

Something that some of my coworkers may not know is my secret passion for true crime and my fascination for psychology! I know every Netflix documentary and listen to crime podcasts on my way to work. When I was younger, I wanted to become a criminal investigator (that obviously didn’t work out too well.
