As a Senior Business Solutions Analyst you will be responsible for operational enhancements to our retailer and customer facing marketing/sales systems (i.e. InfoBahn, DealerTrack and myAccount/myBMW) including prioritization, business requirements and implementation. You will also be responsible for the implementation of the BMW Group Financial Services Canada online and social media marketing strategies. You are the main point of contact for websites across the organization.
Works with internal and external teams to develop and enhance application software to satisfy business requirements.
Works with internal departments to ensure that product enhancements are prioritized to meet company strategic objectives.
Act as a technical lead for Central, Regional and local projects impacting Operational systems and liaise with IT and vendor for the market and various business departments.
Identify process improvements in order to increase operational efficiencies and mitigate risk.
Troubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed in existing applications to meet changing user requirements.
Quality assurance testing and awareness of enhancements in other areas that may have an impact.
Maintain strong relationships with internal business partners to understand their business needs, manage expectations, and assist in gap analysis.
Project management of BMW Group projects and maintenance releases in an agile environment.
Collaborating with the Business Solutions Manager to evaluate existing processes and initiate new projects based upon analysis.
3 – 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Extensive knowledge of the online, mobile and social media marketing environment for customer and retailer facing systems.
Excellent computer skills in all Microsoft Office applications, specifically advanced Excel skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
Familiar with Agile methodology.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Previous Automotive industry background is an asset.
Ability to work in a team environment.
