As I am from Landshut, I grew up in the BMW triangle of lower Bavaria. Both BMW products and the company itself fascinated me since I was a child. After completing my Bachelor's degree in Technology and Management at the Technical University of Munich, the time had come – my first internship at BMW within Value Stream Management began. During this internship, I not only got to know the Purchasing Department at BMW, but also had the opportunity to see many suppliers and their production facilities. After my internship, I was accepted into the BMW Fastlane programme and was allowed to get to know different areas such as Corporate Strategy, Motorsport and Capacity Management during my practical assignments.

After Fastlane, I started in Direct Purchasing for Powertrains and have been a buyer for E-mobility Power Electronics for two years. The variety of topics in particular is a special attraction for me in this job. The spectrum ranges from Spare Parts Supply, Technical Change Management and Logistics topics to strategic allocations and complicated negotiations. You are involved in the entire life cycle of a vehicle and therefore in contact with various BMW departments. The external contact with suppliers rounds off the job perfectly for me. In addition, in our dynamic team, jokes are never neglected in the daily work routine.

When I am not buying for BMW, I spend a lot of time in the mountains hiking, cycling and occasionally on a convertible tour with my old BMW Z3. I also love cooking together with friends.
