GET TO KNOW MORITZ.

I am part of the HR Marketing and Recruiting Team for the BMW Group's international markets. Every market is different and sometimes has very different requirements. This makes the tasks very challenging and versatile and you have intense contact with colleagues all around the world.

I’ve now been working for the BMW Group since 2014, but before that I had already gained experience in other companies.

After graduating from high school, I completed a dual degree in Management. This was a good opportunity to combine theory and practice and also to gain initial work experience. After completing my studies, I went abroad again – to Australia – where I had the chance to help set up an international start-up. This job later brought me to Munich.

Following the start-up, my career continued in the tourism industry. As a web analyst, I managed the websites of a large travel company. In the dynamic online marketing environment, I learned a lot “on-the-job” and acquired expert knowledge in current tools and topics. With this experience, I joined the BMW Group two years later – first within the area of International Dealer Qualifications, then three years in the Digital Analytics team, which oversees the BMW Group's websites worldwide.

At the BMW Group you really have the opportunity to get to know different specialist and functional areas in the course of your career. The experience you gain and the networks that you establish help enormously in your daily work. Digitisation is a big deal for us. I really enjoy the opportunity to try out current tools and trends and to work flexibly in terms of time and space. When I'm not in the office, I like to travel with friends or family. During one of our last trips, I even surprised my BMW colleagues in New Zealand with a visit.
