GET TO KNOW JULIA.

My name is Julia, and I am a Chemical Laboratory Assistant in the field of cell analysis research. From my point of view, Chemical Laboratory Assistant is a very special profession that is not only in great demand, but also has many different areas of application due to its diversity. During my training, I gained exciting insights into different fields of activity and had the opportunity to meet interesting colleagues from different teams. Chemistry plays a big role in many areas – where you would not expect it at first. For example, when it comes to engines, paints or in a wide variety of topics related to battery cells.

The highlight of my apprenticeship was my transfer to the Battery Cell Competence Centre of the BMW Group – here I not only gained new and exciting insights, but I was also ultimately taken on in this area. What I particularly like about this position is that week after week, you come across new insights that you have contributed to yourself.

Both, the apprenticeship coordinators and the colleagues in the assignment departments deal with the apprentices in a very appreciative manner. Communication is respectful and takes place at eye level. I also have a friendly relationship with my supervisors. Everyone can openly share their ideas about the work and solutions are sought together.
