We develop the UI for upcoming infotainment systems of the BMW Group, our focus is vehicle functions.

What awaits you?

• You will be working in an agile team of developers and UI experts to develop infotainment applications which visualize and control vehicle functions.
• Designing and implementing components, Custom View development, (Vehicle) APIs and UIs will be part of your job. 
• Furthermore, you analyze and solve technical problems within the team and together with our partners in other departments.
• You will develop a modern Kotlin / Java / C++ code base using today’s best software tools and practices like Git, code review, automated testing, and CI.
• You will write code and automated tests (MockK, Espresso).

What should you bring along?

• University degree in Computer Science or a comparable study.
• Several years of Android (App) development experience in Kotlin; knowledge in C++ and Java programming of advantage.
• In-depth understanding of object-oriented software development.
• Familiarity with AOSP or experience with Android Automotive is a plus.
• Expertise in CI and test automatization as well as software quality practices (e.g. code reviews).
• Familiarity with agile processes and development.
• Business-fluent English, German would be an advantage.
