We develop the UI for upcoming infotainment systems of the BMW Group, our focus is vehicle functions.
What awaits you?
You will be working in an agile team of developers and UI experts to develop infotainment applications which visualize and control vehicle functions.
Designing and implementing components, Custom View development, (Vehicle) APIs and UIs will be part of your job.
Furthermore, you analyze and solve technical problems within the team and together with our partners in other departments.
You will develop a modern Kotlin / Java / C++ code base using today’s best software tools and practices like Git, code review, automated testing, and CI.
You will write code and automated tests (MockK, Espresso).
What should you bring along?
University degree in Computer Science or a comparable study.
Several years of Android (App) development experience in Kotlin; knowledge in C++ and Java programming of advantage.
In-depth understanding of object-oriented software development.
Familiarity with AOSP or experience with Android Automotive is a plus.
Expertise in CI and test automatization as well as software quality practices (e.g. code reviews).
Familiarity with agile processes and development.
Business-fluent English, German would be an advantage.
