Hangzhou is not only one of the wealthiest and most developed provinces in China, its also known as one of the country’s most beautiful cities due to its historic relics and natural scenery, such as its famous West Lake.
The regional offices in Hangzhou are home to both BMW China Automotive Trading Ltd., and BMW China Automotive Finance (China) Co.,Ltd. The offices are located at the Uncommon District Centre (UDC) in the city’s newly developed business district.

Hangzhou is the capital and largest city in the Zhejiang province – one of the richest and most developed provinces in China. More than 9 million people live in Hangzhou’s metropolitan area.
Located just 40 minutes away by car from the world’s biggest city, Shanghai, Hangzou is well connected with a high-speed highway, but it’s calmer than Shanghai with lots of green spaces. The city’s leafy streets make the perfect backdrop for a walk, while biking is also made effortless thanks to free public bicycles, available in the central districts.
Hangzhou is regarded as one of the most beautiful cities in China due to its historic relics and stunning natural scenery. The West Lake – a UNESCO World Heritage Site – is the city’s best-known attraction, and is to the locals what Central Park is to New Yorkers. Locals meet here to enjoy picnics, go for walks or to bike around one of the many trails around the lake. There are historical temples, beautiful gardens, arched bridges and small peaceful islands all dotted around the lake – the site has been a notable place since the 9th century when many poets and artists found inspiration for their work there. Hangzhou’s Longjing Village and famous tea garden lie in the hills west of the lake and here you can find idyllic terraces and straw hatted harvesters who pick each leaf by hand.
Hangzhou is an industrial city boasting companies in sectors as diverse as agriculture, textile, medicine, electronics and information technology. Due to the amount of businesses based in the city and the increase in tourism the area has a strong economy. It’s a safe and welcoming area for people to work in, as well as it’s a clean and picturesque city to spend time in. There’s also a high number of students, thanks to the many universities and institutions for higher education based here, giving the city a youthful air.

The regional offices in Hangzhou are stationed on the 8th floor of the 33 story Uncommon District Center (UDC), located directly on the banks of the broad River Qiantang. Finished in 2011 and positioned in the Jianggang District, this twin tower building has become a mark in the north bank skyline and the newly developed business district of Hangzhou.
The BMW regional office in Hangzhou is home to two legal entities: BMW China Automotive Trading Ltd., responsible for all national sales, marketing & aftersales activities; and BMW China Automotive Finance (China) Co.,Ltd. which not only offers financial products but also customer-oriented services.
The UDC Twin Towers provides optimum views from all offices over the district and the River Qiantang. In addition to the breath taking views, the UDC hosts a two-story winter garden that is integrated into the office floors on two opposite sides of the building as thermal buffers and to reduce energy emissions. Large supply and waste air apertures provide ventilation and prevent the offices from overheating in summer. Placed in walking distance from metro line 4 and with bus lines stopping right outside, commuting to the UDC building is a breeze.
